About FOL Connect
FOL Connect is the check-in system RCCG Fountain Of Life Braintree uses to welcome you each week. You register once, and every visit after that is your phone number and a tap.
Why we ask for your phone number
Your number finds your household, so one number checks everyone in together. We won't call you unless you ask us to.
What we keep
Your name, phone number, address, email (optional), birthday and wedding anniversary (day and month only) and the dates you attend. For children, we also keep their age and any allergy note you give us. We use these details to record attendance and care for our church family, not to send marketing.

Only authorised church leaders can see your details, and each person only sees what their role needs. Pastors and administrators can see your full record. Deacons and department leads see a limited view for pastoral care and their own teams. Ushers can help you at the door but never see your address, email, birthday or allergy notes. We won't share your details with any third parties. When you check in, you type your name and number, and the screen only shows the first names of your household so you can confirm who's here today. We never show phone numbers, addresses, birthdays or allergy notes.
Changing or removing your details
Just speak to an usher and they'll update or delete your record for you. You can also email our data protection contact at dpo@rccgfol.org.uk.
